Easter Sunday was lovely this year. The sun was shining and it was a warm 70-75 degrees outside. All the trees were starting to flower and it was such a beautiful sight to see against all the grey concrete and brownstone. We spent the day strolling around our neighborhood and then took a train into the city, where we continued our leisurely walk around the cobbled streets of Soho - one of my favorite things to do. Paid our respects at the Old Saint Patrick's Cathedral (est 1809), ate a simple but tasty lunch at Whole Foods on Bowery, and did some good old fashion window shopping. We finished off the day with a nice bike ride through Park Slope, and a stop over at our friends' place, David & Alicia. All in all, an ideal Easter holiday. Looking forward to more of this Springtime weather ;)
