Valentine's Day

V-day this year was sweet. The hubs and I took a train into the city and had delicious brunch at NOHO star (poached eggs w/ rosemary home fries, steak tomatoes & creamy spinach, served with coffee and fresh OJ, eggs-cellent!) followed by a lovely stroll in the West Village. The sun was shining bright, and there was still snow on the ground, which made it all the more beautiful. We stopped for coffee once or twice, peeked inside the Marc Jacobs store (a must) and ended the day with a chilly walk through Prospect Park. Later that evening we were glued by the TV watching the Olympics pairs figure skating competition. Indeed, an ideal day it was with my Valentine.
