If these walls could talk...
Reading Patti Smith's memoir Just Kids, lead me to take a train on my lunch break and explore the Chelsea hotel on 23rd St. Here are a few snaps.
Hard to imagine that this place was a beacon of creativity and excess - especially when the Olive Garden and Best Buy is like a block away. I wonder how Jack and Jimi would feel about this.
